Anıtkabir is a complex that includes mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara.
TBMM
The first TBMM building was active from 1920 and 1924. It located in Altindag, Ankara, square of Ulus. Its construction dated back to 1915.

Rahmi Koc Museum
It is located in Altındag, Ankara. It is the first industry museum of Ankara. It is in front of Ankara castle known as “At Pazarı” in a caravan saray called “Çengel Han”.
PTT Stamp Museum
It is located in Altındag, Ankara. It opened in October 2013. The total stamp number is approximately 6000 and its 4400 pieces are original; the other ones came from different parts of the world.
Gokyay Chess Museum
It is a museum in Altındag, Ankara. It has nearly 1000m2 areas and exhibits 703 chess from 110 different countries.
Segmenler Parkı
It opened in 1983. It has 67000m2 area and an amphitheatre for the concerts, parks and fountains.
Beypazarı
Beypazarı is famous for its mansions. These duplex and triplex mansions are important for culture. Their basement is generally built as stone; the other parts are wood or adobe.
Blue Lake
Its distance from Ankara is 12 km and it is on the road of Samsun. It has 2400 m2 area and takes its name from the blue water in the Bayındır dam that has 6 million m3. It is located in the East part of Ankara and opened in 2005. Local people spend some time having fun and rest here.
Mogan Lake
It is a natural lake in Golbası, Ankara. This lake is a part of “Golbası Specially Protected Environment Area” like with the other 15 protection areas. Mogan Lake hosts many bird species in some specific seasons.
Ankara Castle
It is a historical castle in Altındag, Ankara. Its building time is not clear but when Galats came to Ankara in BC 2 it appeared. It restorated several times the eras of Romans, Byzantines, Selcuks and Ottomans.
Swan Park
It is a park in Kavaklıdere, Ankara. It is between Tunalı Hilmi street and Poland Street. There are swans, gooses and ducks in the park.
Eymir Lake
Its land belongs to Middle East Technical University. It is also a training area for paddle and sail teams. There is a boathouse of the teams. It owns a special fauna and flora.
Ethnography Museum
It is located in Altındag, Ankara. First of all it is thought of as an Archeological museum. Then it became an Art and Sculpture museum. After the opening ceremony its function was completed as Ethnography Museum.
Ulucanlar Prison Museum
Ulucanlar Prison museum was an active prison between 1925 and 2006. It has an important place for Turkish political and literary life.
Goksu Park
One of the biggest parks in Ankara, Goksu is settled on the old Susuz pond. Total area is 508.000m2. The lake area is 127.189m2. There is restaurant, cafe, picnic site except for walking and running paths.
Atakule
This tower is famous for its round turning restaurant. It is on the corner of Cinnah street and Cankaya Street. Its opening ceremony was with Turgut Ozal, 8th president of Turkey. It opened on 13 October 1989, the 66th anniversary of the capital city Ankara. It is the second shopping mall in Turkey, the first one in Ankara. Its name is given as a result of a competition.
